"When carrying bikes above, find some way of reminding yourself to be aware of low clearances."

Check out the Toys on Top sign. It hangs from your rearview mirror, staying right in sight, so you don’t forget that you’ve got valuable stuff on the roof! Works at home or at the bank or at the drive-thru.

One thing you forgot is that you can still enjoy a runner's high on a treadmill and just zone out to really loud music on the headphones. Yesterday I ran for an hour and never felt better - physically and mentally. And I didn't feel like a hampster!

Bravo. And spot on.

Our standard training is "That's a great question, I'm not sure but let me find someone who knows."

That assumes, of course, that you can find someone who knows. In a recent visit to Dick's (ironically, for some shorts for a rugby game at OR), I was told where things are, period. Not that I had any questions -- they're shorts -- but in a 20K square foot store with six people working, finding someone who knows seems to be a non-priority.

I understand the reasoning behind not using ankle or hand weights, but what about a full weight like something in a back pack? Are there any benefits to walking with, say an extra 20-40 pounds or more in a (well designed, proper) backpack? Or more?
